We’ve got a  huge, clean, efficient kitchen, a smart menu, and leadership looking for a team that actually works  together. If you know your way around a flat-top and a slicer, and can work a knife with some skill—and you’re looking for a spot that respects your skills and your time—you just found it. We also believe a restaurant should feel alive: Expect  good tunes  playing in the front of house (downtempo house, indie, classics), and  kitchen staff gets their own speaker—play what keeps you moving and makes the shift fly by. Plus, every team member gets  free Cured & Crafted tees and hats  to keep you looking sharp, and a  free meal each shift  to keep your belly full. And to keep things smooth and organized,  Toast POS  with a  digital Kitchen Display System (KDS)—no old-school paper tickets to jam you up. You’ve worked in a commercial kitchen before, know how to hold your station down, and you take pride in putting out clean, consistent food. This is a great fit if you: Have  experience on a flat-top grill, knife skills, and a knack for making great food Are available to work SUNDAYS 10a-4p (A MUST!) Ideally have  1+ years in a commercial kitchen  and experience with our equipment (Deli Slicer, Flat Top Griddle, etc) Show up on time,  ready to work, ready to learn- every tme. Are cool under pressure and clean as you go (This is a must!!) Love music, good food, and being part of a creative environment Want a kitchen that’s structured, supportive, creative, and enjoyable Can lift 50 lbs and stay on your feet for a full shift Are 18+ and can handle some heat What You’ll Be Doing: Making hot sandwiches that actually make people say “damn, that was good” Prepping daily—slicing, portioning, and setting up the line; cleaning, maintaining company standards Keeping your station (and the kitchen) tight and tidy- generally, staying busy while on the clock so we can all get home on time! Pitching in with dish duty and cleaning tasks as needed Working with a team that has your back and keeps the energy up Open or close the kitchen, depending on your shift Using  Toast POS and a digital KDS  to keep the line flowing smoothly At  Cured & Crafted, we’re building something special right in the heart of Jefferson Park.
