Workers' Compensation Defense - Lien Hearing Representative We are looking for a Lien Hearing Representative to attend WCAB venues (in-person and/or remote) and represent our clients (Employers, Insurance Companies, and TPA's) during lien conferences, lien trials, and lien or medical legal petitioner-related appearances. We offer excellent work/life balance in a collaborative and casual work environment.Responsibilities: Managing a full caseload of Lien filesPreparing, drafting, obtaining, and filing legal documentsPerforming research relevant to each request for workers' compensation caseCommunicating with relevant parties involved in a caseCommunicating regularly with clients with status and hearing reportsAttending all case related hearings and negotiating settlementsPreparing a proposal to resolve each lien/caseMaintaining case notesTraveling to assigned Workers' Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB) locations as neededEntering billing notes according to different client specificationsMaintaining billable hoursQualifications: Two or more years of experience working as a Hearing Representative in California Workers' Compensation Defense (Required)Knowledge of CA Workers' Compensation lawHighly motivated, results-driven, high energy, and a sense of urgencyStrong attention to detail, with a commitment to outstanding customer serviceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to juggle multiple tasks efficiently with little supervisionClient-focused, with the ability to deliver resultsBenefits: 401(k) – Employer ContributionDental InsuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceWork Location: Multiple Locations - Remote optional; Travel may be requiredJob Type: Full-time Salary: $55,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
