Working under close supervision, the co-op assists with testing, documentation updates, and basic engineering analyses to help maintain existing products and support continuous improvement initiatives.How You'll Create ImpactAssist with sustaining engineering activities, including testing, data collection, and documentation updatesSupport Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) by gathering information, updating records, and tracking changesExecute routine verification and validation (V&V) tests according to established protocolsProvide support for CAPA and complaint investigations through data review and documentation assistanceHelp maintain engineering documentation such as drawings, BOMs, test reports, and technical filesCollaborate with cross-functional partners (Quality, Manufacturing, R&D) to address basic product or process issuesThis is not an exhaustive list of duties or functions and might not necessarily comprise all of the essential functions for purposes of the Americans with Disabilities Act.What Makes You Stand OutFundamental engineering principles and structured problem-solving skillsAbility to follow detailed procedures, test methods, and work instructionsAttention to detail when reviewing and maintaining technical documentation and dataDeveloping communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environmentIntroductory awareness of quality systems, regulatory requirements, and design controlsYour BackgroundMust be actively enrolled in an academic program for the entire duration of the assignment.Pursuit of B.S./B.E. degree in engineering discipline.
