This position responds promptly to requests and gathers necessary information to assist in identifying and sourcing requested parts.This is more than an order-entry role - it's an opportunity to build technical expertise and grow within a high-performing HVAC organization.Salary: $60,000-75,000Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:Conduct sales of HVAC parts and supplies via phone, email, and walk-in transactionsManage transactions and interface with manufacturers and customers to provide accurate information regarding order statusMaintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all transactionsPromptly identify parts and process customer quotes and ordersFollow up with customers on quotes and inquiries regarding products or servicesApprove manufacturer invoices, issue customer invoices, and reconcile financials within assigned parts projectsProvide pre-sale and post-sale support as requiredKeep internal templates and procedures up to dateStay informed about manufacturer updates related to service bulletins and product obsolescenceVisit job sites with Outside Sales Team members to gain a better understanding of customer requirements, equipment specifications and component identificationContribute to a growing team environmentAbility to work within and effectively navigate multiple CRM systemsAbility to efficiently manage, update, and ensure data accuracy across multiple CRM systemsLoad and unload shipments of parts, supplies, and equipment as neededRecord inventory discrepancies and ensure compliance with internal ordering processesCandidate Profile:The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborativeThey are organized, proactive, and committed to delivering exceptional customerCandidate must be able to develop and maintain deep customer and stakeholder relationships built onEducation & Experience Requirements:Associate's degree with a minimum of two (2) years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceComputer skills are essential, HVAC Parts background is preferredHVAC, Mechanical Contracting, Engineering, or Construction industry experience is aEmployment practices will not be influenced or affected by an applicant's or employee's race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, veteran status or any other legally protected status.
