Network Engineer

Position: Network EngineerDuration: 1 YearLocation: Montgomery, AL (Onsite)Required SkillsAll skills required to fulfil the responsibilities of the above job description. we are looking for a Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support our network infrastructure. You would be part of our Infrastructure and Cloud Services team responsible for designing and developing scalable, maintainable, highly available network architectures that meet business objectives and SLAs. ResponsibilitiesConfigure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurationsMonitor performance and ensure system availability and reliabilityMonitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planningProvide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issuesWork within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructureSelect and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company's security team Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolutionRequirements And SkillsProven hands-on network engineering experience Azure networking experience CCNP or higher (CCIE and/or CISSP highly valued)Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP modelHands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics toolsUniversity degree in Computer Science or a related subject highly valuedExperience with Aruba switches and access points, and Fortinet routers, switches, and access points highly valuedRequired Experience15+ years of high-level experience in the aspects of the above job description.Preferred Experience15+ years of high-level experience in the aspects of the above job description.Education RequiredB.S. in Computer Science or closely related fieldEducation PreferredM.S. in Computer Science
