We partner with therapy and psychiatry practices across Illinois and pride ourselves on high-touch service, strong compliance, and exceptional follow-through.If you love problem-solving, understand the full revenue cycle, and enjoy working in behavioral health billing, we’d love to connect.Position Type: Full-time (W-2) Location: Remote or Hybrid (Illinois preferred)Key ResponsibilitiesSubmit and manage behavioral health insurance claims (commercial, Medicare, Medicaid)Follow up on rejections, denials, and underpaymentsPost and reconcile insurance and patient paymentsVerify eligibility and benefitsAssist with provider credentialing, recredentialing, and payer enrollmentsCommunicate with insurance companies and provider officesMaintain accurate documentation and account notesSupport aging A/R cleanup and ongoing claim monitoringRequired Experience2+ years of mental/behavioral health billing experienceStrong understanding of CPT codes, ICD-10, modifiers, and payer rulesExperience working full revenue cycle (from claim submission to payment)Comfortable working independently and managing multiple accountsPreferred (Nice to Have)Experience using SimplePractice and/or TherapyNotes (big plus)Credentialing and contracting experienceIllinois payer experience (BCBS IL, Aetna, Cigna, UHC, Medicaid, Medicare, etc.)You’ll Be a Great Fit If You AreDetail-oriented and organizedA strong communicatorA problem solver who enjoys digging into denialsReliable, accountable, and team-orientedTo Apply: Please message me directly or email your resume to melinda@redeemedbilling.com with a brief note about your mental health billing experience and any EMRs you’ve used.
