Role: Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) SpecialistLocation: Indianapolis, IN (Northside) 75% Onsite / Hybrid (Primarily Onsite During Key Project Phases)Duration: Long TermOverviewThe Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) Specialist supports a large-scale pharmaceutical manufacturing project, assisting Reliability Engineers during the ramp-up of a greenfield facility. This role is focused on developing reliability documentation, maintenance strategies, and compliance-driven processes to transition assets from construction and installation into full operational readiness under cGMP and regulatory requirements. This is a high-impact opportunity to influence long-term reliability and maintenance strategy at the front end of a major manufacturing operation.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance Strategy & Reliability DevelopmentSupport Reliability Engineers during equipment handoff from construction to operationsDevelop and document Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) for equipment, assemblies, and systemsCreate detailed maintenance job plans tailored to specific assetsAssist in developing maintenance and reliability strategies to improve equipment performanceReview vendor documentation and recommendations to support total reliability strategiesParticipate in the development of maintenance and reliability proceduresCollaboration & ExecutionWork closely with planners, schedulers, engineering, operations, and quality teamsFacilitate cross-functional alignment of maintenance planning deliverablesTrack and report task completion and progress metrics to support project successRisk Analysis & ComplianceConduct reliability risk assessments and FMEA activitiesIdentify potential failure modes and assess operational impactEnsure maintenance processes align with cGMP and applicable regulatory standardsRequired Qualifications8+ years of industry experience in a cGMP-regulated environment (pharmaceutical manufacturing required)Hands-on experience with Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) methodologiesProven ability to develop and document FMEAExperience creating maintenance job plans for manufacturing or process equipmentStrong analytical, documentation, and communication skillsEducationAssociate degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial maintenance, or related field with 6+ years of experience or12+ years of relevant industry experience in lieu of a degreeWhy This OpportunitySupport a high-visibility greenfield pharmaceutical manufacturing projectInfluence reliability and maintenance strategy from initial startupLong-term engagement with strong extension potentialCollaborative environment working alongside experienced engineering and reliability teams
