Job Description
HCLTech is looking for an experienced Solution Architect. This individual will be responsible for the implementation of an S/4HANA End to End business processes. The Solution Architect is thetechnical and functional design authorityfor the SAP transformation program. They need ensure that the solution aligns with business requirements, industry best practices, and SAP standards while maintaining integration across all modules and systems. This role bridgesbusiness processes ,technical architecture , anddelivery governance .
Skills & Experience
15+ yearsSAP experience;3–5 yearsas Solution Architect on large programs.
Expertise inS/4HANA architecture , integration, and SAP best practices.
Strong understanding ofSAP modules ,data migration , andcloud technologies .
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Design & Architecture
Define theend-to-end SAP solution architecture(S/4HANA and related applications).
Ensure alignment withSAP Activate methodology , global template, and industry standards.
Designintegration architecturebetween SAP modules (FI, CO, SD, MM, PP, EWM, etc.) and external systems (tax engines, legacy apps, data platforms).
Establishtechnical landscape : environments, sizing, and deployment model (on-premise, RISE with SAP, cloud).
Governcustom development(WRICEF objects) and ensure minimal customization.
2. Requirements & Fit-to-Standard
LeadFit-to-Standard workshopsand validate solution feasibility.
Translate business requirements intofunctional and technical specifications .
Identify gaps and proposestandard SAP solutionsor approved extensions.
3. Integration & Data Strategy
Defineintegration patterns(APIs, IDocs, BTP services) and middleware usage.
Overseedata migration strategy , including mapping, cleansing, and reconciliation.
Ensuremaster data governanceand harmonization across systems.
4. Governance & Quality Assurance
Act asdesign authorityfor all solution decisions; approve changes to scope or architecture.
Maintainsolution blueprint , process hierarchy, and configuration rationale.
Conductquality reviewsfor functional specs, technical designs, and test scripts.
5. Security, Compliance & Performance
Ensureauthorization designaligns with SoD and compliance requirements.
Validateperformance benchmarksand system scalability.
Supportaudit readinessand regulatory compliance (SOX, GDPR, industry-specific).
6. Testing & Cutover Support
Defineend-to-end test scenariosand integration test coverage.
Validatecutover sequencingfor technical components and data loads.
Providehypercare oversightfor solution stability post go-live.
7. Stakeholder Management
Collaborate withBusiness Process Owners ,Project Managers , andTechnical Leads .
Communicate solution decisions toSteering CommitteeandDelivery Teams .
Act as escalation point fordesign conflictsor integration issues.

Pay and Benefits
Negotiable!
Pay Range Minimum: $152,000 + bonus
Pay Range Maximum: $260,000 + bonus

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
