Job Description:This position is responsible for verifying that every product leaving the finishing process meets established standards and specifications. The Finishing Operator carefully inspects each finished piece to ensure it meets visual, dimensional, and performance expectations. In addition to quality checks, this role involves identifying any defects or inconsistencies, communicating findings to the production team, and helping implement solutions that keep production running smoothly. Ultimately, the Finishing Operator helps ensure that every product reflects Cambria’s expectations and quality before it reaches the customer.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Work with an adhesive bonding glue to bind together countertop sectionsPerform quality checks on finished piecesUtilize overhead crane to move large finished piecesInspect the overhead crane on a daily basisInterpret blueprints and sketches to plan, set up, and operate lamination equipmentPrepare finished product for quality control testingPerform Quality Control testing on finished product using defined procedures and test methodsInspect finished product before it’s shipped to customers and/or distribution centersMaintain documentation related to all quality tests and inspectionsPerform quality audits to ensure conformance to standard operating proceduresPerform job duties safely as outlined in the Quality Control Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Perform all required documentation with detail and accuracyKeep work area clean and orderlyConduct all job related duties in a safe and responsible mannerCross-train on multiple types of equipmentPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor or ManagementQualifications and Skills:Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills Mechanically inclined Ability to become certified in forklift and overhead crane operation Ability to become certified in using an overhead craneAbility to work safely and follow Standard Operating ProceduresBasic computer skillsBasic math skillsCritical thinking skillsExcellent organizational skills Minimum Requirements:Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.Experience: N/ASystems: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace preferredCambria Success Factors:High attention to detailReliable and punctual Direct communicationSense of urgency in completing work Capable of multitaskingWork well both independently and with a teamSelf-motivated Physical Requirements: Work at varying heights, including on the rooftop of the buildings Lift up to 60 lbs. Push/pull 100 lbs. Stand on feet for long periods of time during a shift for up to 12 hours, with intermittent breaksWear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises Work in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions Walk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift Bend over multiple times throughout shift Task Based Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements: Steel toed bootsHearing Protection Safety glassesCut-proof glovesLatex glovesFace shield High visibility vestRespirator*Employees who are required to wear a respirator must maintain a clean-shaven face in the area where the respirator seals to the skin. Cambria’s starting hourly range for this position is $17.15 - $22.66. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position.
