Only State of SC residentsLocation: Columbia, SC / HybridDuration: 12 - 24+ months (High Possibility of Further Extensions)Why is this position open: Seeking Business Analyst/Technical Writing resources to support secure deployment and management of the State-Wide Information Technology Shared Services initiatives and projects.ResponsibilitiesStatus reporting of operational support tasks and related work efforts. Identifying metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) of processes and their output.Create, manage and maintain policy, plan, process, procedure and other program documents such as process flows, standard operating procedures, desk manuals and procedural guidelines.Review, edit, and maintain documentation consistency and accuracy for documentation submitted by both staff and vendorsMonitor and Support deadlines, milestones and activitiesApply change, risk and resource managementDocument all meetings attended, directives, and significant phone conversations.Develop and deliver professional technical Program updates to DIS leadership and supporting staff.Communicates with IT leadership, business leadership and IT Business Consultants to communicate program strategy, direction and changes.Responsible for tracking key project milestones and recommending adjustments to Project ManagersSkills Needed5+ years of experience in Technical WritingAbility to create effective and clear process flows/similar diagrams in PowerPoint or VisioSimultaneously manage multiple reporting requirements.Schedule management and planning skills.Experience supporting regulatory compliance projects.Experience with technical SOP documentation and graphic creation in VisioMust possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of Microsoft office tools.Excellent technical writing skills; Technical writing experience ability to create effective and clear process flows and similar diagrams in PowerPoint or visioEducationBachelor's degree or an associate degree with 2 years of experience
