This role is critical to producing complex, precision components used in some of the country's most important national-security projects — with an uncompromising focus on quality, accuracy, and reliability.The Work You'll Be DoingIn this role, you will:Set up and operate multi-axis CNC milling and turning machinesExecute work from manufacturing plans, blueprints, and routed instructionsConfigure workholding setups (vises, angle plates, rotary tables, V-blocks, super spacers)Perform milling, drilling, tapping, and reaming operations on precision partsLoad, run, and edit CNC programs — including minor G-code/M-code changes at the machineTram machine heads and verify alignmentConduct in-process inspection using precision measurement toolsDeburr finished components and complete production documentationMaintain compliance with AS9100 / ISO aerospace and defense standardsMachines, Controls & Inspection ToolsYou'll work with equipment such as:Machines: Multi-axis CNC mills and lathes (3-axis to 5-axis)Controls: Fanuc-type G-code environments (machine-level editing required)Inspection Tools: Calipers, micrometers, indicators, thread gaugesMaterials You'll Work WithAlloy and stainless steelsAerospace materialsOther defense-grade metalsWhat We're Looking For Required2+ years of CNC machining experience (or equivalent vocational training)Ability to read and interpret technical blueprintsAbility to amend G-code/M-code at the machineStrong shop math skills (geometry, fractions, decimals)Mechanical aptitude and spatial reasoningU. S.
