The COO will be a critical integrator, operator, and strategic partner to the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Team, with a focus on strengthening execution, increasing organizational alignment, and ensuring that enterprise investments deliver measurable outcomes. This role is highly strategic and deeply operational, requiring the ability to translate the organization's strategic plan into a coherent operating agenda, and to lead and optimize core operational functions, including enterprise strategy, human resources, information technology, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and enterprise communications. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading cross-pillar integration, change management, and will serve as the executive leader of the enterprise data strategy, championing the responsible adoption of AI and digital capabilities.Candidates for the COO position at the company should have significant senior executive experience, ideally in large nonprofits, health, or mission-driven enterprises, and a proven track record of translating strategy into executable plans. The role requires a leader with a strong background in partnering with finance, overseeing technology and data-enabled change, and leading high-performing, diverse teams. The ideal candidate will be a decisive, accountable, and collaborative leader, with a strong commitment to the mission of the organization. A bachelor's degree is required, and an advanced degree is preferred.
