Job Title: Information Security Manager 3 – Vulnerability Management Lead Duration: 4+ Months (High likelihood of extension up to 3 years) Location: 100% Remote (Preference for Texas-based candidates) Interview: Video Visa: USC / GC / H4 EAD / TN (H1B transfer cases only)Job SummaryThe Information Security Manager 3 will lead enterprise vulnerability management initiatives, focusing on vulnerability inventory, risk prioritization, and remediation governance. This role ensures alignment with NIST standards while driving effective tracking, reporting, and closure of security vulnerabilities across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in government or public sector environments and a solid foundation in software development.Key ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain enterprise-wide vulnerability inventory and baseline Classify and prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk, severity, and impact (aligned with NIST) Lead remediation efforts, including coordination with application, system, and infrastructure teams Track, monitor, and report vulnerability status, risks, and remediation progress Validate remediation through scan results and supporting evidence Escalate critical or overdue vulnerabilities to governance stakeholders Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen security posture Must-Have Skills & Experience8+ years of experience in vulnerability management and information security Strong expertise in vulnerability inventory, baseline establishment, and scan data consolidation Proven experience in risk classification and prioritization aligned with NIST frameworks Hands-on experience tracking remediation efforts and validating closure through evidence Experience in reporting metrics, dashboards, and executive-level status updates Prior experience working with State, Federal, or Government agencies (mandatory) Solid understanding of security tools, vulnerability scanners, and remediation workflows Background in software development is highly preferred Additional NotesResume should be concise (max 5 pages) with strong emphasis on relevant technical and security experience Candidates with clear, well-structured experience will be prioritized for screening Regards,Vishal SrivastavDataquad IncDirect: 832-940-7073 Ext (249)2000 S Dairy Ashford Rd, Suite#405, Houston, TX, 77077vishalsrivastav@dataqinc.com |www.dataqinc.com
