We are a small, hands-on metal fabrication shop specializing in precision work and high-quality craftsmanship for the aerospace industry. Our projects range from one-off components to small-scale production runs, serving industries that demand accuracy and reliability. We're looking for a dependable, versatile, detail-oriented associate to join our team. Job Description: Responsible for preparing precision holes in metal components. Use of workshop machinery or hand tools to countersink and ream holes to exact tolerances. Will need to read blueprints, mylars and follow detailed instructions either verbally or written with minimal supervision. Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 4:30pm (5:30pm for overtime). Overtime is possible daily and/or Fridays. WE ATRE CURRENTLY WORKING OVERTIME 44-50 hours per week. Extended hours required during peak workloads or special projects. Responsibilities/Duties: Operate workshop machinery, hand tools, and/or pneumatic tools to perform countersink and ream operations. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job instructions. Verify dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges). Ensure accurate alignment, depth, and finish of holes as per specifications. Inspect finished work for defects and make necessary adjustments. May perform troubleshooting and rework of production items. Report equipment malfunctions or process issues to the supervisor. Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and quality guidelines. Follows all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times. Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned by Leader or other members of the leadership team. All objectives must be carried out in a safe and appropriate manner while maintaining an acceptable level of quality and efficiency. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required - Proof will be required during onboarding. Previous experience in drilling, reaming, or similar precision machining operations - Small part assembly experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with small tolerances. Familiarity with manufacturing safety practices. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Able to bend, twist, turn, carry, lift, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, etc. Working Conditions: Manufacturing floor environment with exposure to noise, dust, and machinery. Climate controlled facility. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory. Extended hours required during peak workloads or special projects.
