Current North Carolina license as an advanced registered nurse practitioner with prescriptive authority. BLS completed prior to going to the unit/department and maintained going forwardThe Nurse Licensure Compact will not change how to obtain or renew a North Carolina license. However, the North Carolina nursing license will be a single state license for North Carolina Residents or non-compact state residents.
