ConnectDotsSolution LLC is urgently seeking a Junior/Mid-Level Java / Forms / Report Developer to support North Carolina Families Accessing Services through Technology (NC FAST), specifically its Medicaid Operations and Maintenance program. The selected developer will build, enhance, and maintain Java components, XML-based forms, reports, correspondence templates, and document-generation functionality within the NC FAST application.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Java/J2EE application components, forms, and reports.
Create and modify XML, XSD, XSLT, and XSL-FO templates.
Support correspondence and document generation using Apache FOP.Develop SQL queries and scripts for reporting and data validation.
Perform UML modeling, unit testing, debugging, and code reviews.
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA teams.
Troubleshoot document rendering, data processing, and application issues.
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of Java/J2EE development experience.2+ years of Agile development (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe).2+ years of XML, XSD, XSLT, and XSL-FO experience.2+ years of SQL, Oracle, relational database modeling, and Apache FOP experience.
Experience with JUnit and JMockit testing frameworks.
Experience using Eclipse, version control tools, and Oracle Utilities.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and independent working skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
IBM Cúram Social Program Management experience.
Medicaid program policy knowledge.
UNIX experience.
Altova XMLSpy and StyleVision experience.
Important Information:
This position requires working onsite in Raleigh, NC. Remote work is not available.
