SCOPEThe scope of work includes system maintenance, bug fixes, and database enhancements to support recent improvements in program processes.The required maintenance and enhancements include, but are not limited to, the following:Provide ongoing maintenance and operational support for the RTS system until its transition or decommissioning.Collaborate with the Office of Agriculture Technology Services (OATS) within the Department to enhance the RTS interface with the OnBase document management system through a web service developed by FDACS.Perform database modifications and system enhancements as needed to support evolving business requirements.All work shall be coordinated with and supervised by the database owner or their designated representative. The contractor shall comply with all applicable Department rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCETo perform the work described above, FDACS requires an experienced systems software programmer with the qualifications listed below. This list is intended as a guideline and is not exhaustive. Not all listed skills are required for every task. Responses to the RFQ will be evaluated based on the candidate's technical expertise, relevant experience, and written and verbal communication skills.Required QualificationsMinimum of five (5) years of experience developing applications using Oracle Forms.Minimum of five (5) years of experience programming with TOAD and SQL*Plus.Demonstrated experience with object-oriented programming and development methodologies.Experience working in a collaborative, multi-developer environment.Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with RTS application components.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to communicate effectively with both technical personnel and business users.
