Safety Coordinator

Brunson Construction, Inc. is looking for a Safety Coordinator who is highly motivated and organized. The person must have good general computer knowledge and be well versed in all Microsoft Office applications. Must be able to multi-task and be efficient in operating in a fast-pace work environment. Responsibilities: Planning health and safety programs and protocols Teaching supervisors, managers and other leaders in the company about health and safety standards Presenting safety training sessions to the company Ensuring compliance with OSHA, federal and state regulations Handling risk assessments to gather information on safety issues Verifying that employees consistently follow safety protocols Analyzing health and safety data Make and enforce safety rules. Site Safety Audits. Perform near miss / Accident investigations. Keep track of safety logs and injury reports. Hand out and check safety gear (PPE). Required Skills: Know local and federal safety laws. Speak and write clearly. Spot hazards quickly and help to engineer safety solutions / protocols. First aid and CPR certified. OSHA 30 3 years’ work experience in a safety role. Education and Training: High school diploma or a college degree in safety or health. OSHA 510, 500, COSS certificate / CHST preferred.
