About The Job BAS Installer HelperPosition: Building Automation System (BAS) Installer HelperCompensation: $18.00/HR- $20.00/HRPosition SummarySouthwest Electrical Contracting Services is seeking a motivated Building Automation System (BAS) Installer Helper to support our installation team with commercial and industrial automation projects. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to start or grow a career in electrical or building automation systems.The BAS Installer Helper will assist with installing conduit, pulling wire, mounting devices, and supporting lead installers to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with installation of BAS controls, panels, and devicesHelp run conduit, pull wire, and organize materials on job sitesSupport lead installers and technicians with daily tasksMaintain clean and safe work areasFollow safety policies and OSHA guidelines at all timesLoad/unload tools, equipment, and materialsLearn BAS systems, electrical practices, and installation techniquesCommunicate effectively with supervisors and team membersQualificationsMeets SWECS minimum eligibility requirements for a new hirePossesses a positive attitude and eagerness to learnHas access to reliable transportationMaintains an excellent record of attendanceMaintains a minimum required tool listAble to work in construction environments (indoors/outdoors, ladders, lifts, etc.)Able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor throughout the dayBasic knowledge of hand and power tools preferredPrior electrical or construction experience is a plus but not requiredSupervision and ReportingBranch SuperintendentBenefitsCompetitive salary.Health, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) retirement plan.Accrued PTOOpportunities for career advancement and professional development.Positive and supportive work environment.If you are a highly skilled and experienced BAS Installer Helper looking for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity, we encourage you to apply for this position.
