Job Title: Sr Oracle DeveloperLocation: Bloomfield, CT (Onsite) Project Type: 12+ Months Contract Visa : H1b, USCContract : W2, C2CJob Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Oracle Developer with over 12 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in Oracle database development, performance tuning, and advanced PL/SQL programming. As a Senior Oracle Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing complex Oracle applications and solutions.Key Responsibilities:Database Design and Development:Design and develop complex Oracle database solutions, including tables, views, triggers, indexes, and stored procedures.Develop and optimize advanced PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and scripts.Implement data modeling and database design best practices.Performance Tuning and Optimization:Analyze and optimize existing database systems to improve performance and scalability.Conduct query optimization, indexing strategies, and database tuning to ensure efficient database performance.Data Integration and ETL:Develop and maintain ETL processes to integrate data from various sources into Oracle databases.Collaborate with data architects and other stakeholders to ensure data integrity and consistency.Application Development Support:Provide technical support and guidance to application development teams.Assist in troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues and incidents.Required Qualifications:Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.12+ years of experience in Oracle database development and PL/SQL programming.Strong expertise in Oracle 11g/12c/19c or later versions.Proven experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and database design.Hands-on experience with data modeling tools and techniques.Solid understanding of ETL processes and tools (e.g., Oracle Data Integrator, Informatica).Experience with Oracle APEX, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports is a plus.Familiarity with Unix/Linux scripting and shell programming.Preferred Skills:Experience with cloud-based Oracle solutions (e.g., Oracle Cloud, AWS RDS for Oracle).Knowledge of other database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL) is a plus.Certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Master (OCM).
