Job Title: WebMethods Integration DeveloperLocation: Sacramento, CA (Hybrid – First 3 Days Onsite, Remote for Remainder of Engagement)Employment Type: ContractDuration: 6 MonthsJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced WebMethods Integration Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise integration solutions using the Software AG webMethods platform. This role will be responsible for building scalable integration services, developing SAP integrations, and supporting API-driven connectivity across enterprise systems.The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in the webMethods ecosystem, including Integration Server, webMethods.IO, API Gateway, Universal Messaging, and Java-based service development.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement integration solutions using the Software AG webMethods platform.Develop and support integrations utilizing webMethods.IO (Cloud Integration) and related SaaS integration services.Build and maintain SAP RFC (Remote Function Call) integrations between enterprise systems.Develop custom integration services and components using Java.Design, configure, and support APIs and messaging services using webMethods technologies.Collaborate with technical and business teams to gather requirements and deliver integration solutions.Perform testing, troubleshooting, and support activities for integration services.Ensure integration solutions follow security, performance, and scalability best practices.Create and maintain technical documentation and implementation artifacts.Mandatory Skills & QualificationsMinimum 5 years of professional experience developing and implementing solutions on the webMethods integration platform.Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with webMethods.IO (formerly webMethods Cloud Integration – IC).Proven experience developing SAP RFC (Remote Function Call) integrations.Strong experience developing custom integration services using Java.Senior-level expertise with the following webMethods technologies:Integration ServerUniversal MessagingAPI GatewaywebMethods Test SuiteEDI/TN (Trading Networks)Java Service DevelopmentwebMethods.IOStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Preferred SkillsExperience with webMethods Test Suite and EDI/TN (Trading Networks).Advanced or professional certifications related to integration platforms or APIs, including:Software AG Certified webMethods DeveloperMuleSoft CertificationsAWS Certified DeveloperMicrosoft Azure Integration CertificationsPMP or equivalentExperience supporting public sector, utilities, or energy industry initiatives.Strong knowledge of secure software development practices.Experience with identity and access management (IAM) concepts and cybersecurity best practices.Additional expertise with Software AG technologies including Integration Server, Universal Messaging, API Gateway, and Java Service Development.Why Join UsWork with cutting-edge technologies in a collaborative environment.Professional growth opportunities and training support.Inclusive, equitable, and respectful workplace culture.About NetworkPediaNetworkPedia is a certified women-owned technology and talent solutions company, providing IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, managed services, and specialized recruitment across North Americas and beyond.
