Video Production Manager
Overview The VPM will support the director of video production and the greater video team by creating high-quality and compelling video content that resonates with audiences across various platforms. They are responsible for managing the entire video production process, from concept development to post-production and delivery, while coordinating often with various agency departments for maximal efficiency and effectiveness. In order to continuously improve the quality and impact of our video content, the VPM is also responsible for staying up-to-date with the latest video production technologies and trends.
Roles and Responsibilities Develop and execute video production strategies
Create, implement and evolve production procedures as necessary
Oversee video shoots and production processes
Collaborate with client service and creative service departments
Edit and review video content
Efficiently and effectively manage and organize project data
Ensure technical quality and creative standards while ensuring all media projects are completed on time
Coordinate pre-production planning (scripting, storyboarding)
Plan and execute video productions by coordinating talent, props, schedules and more
Assist the director of video production with postproduction as needed
Develop and grow digital video production capabilities within the agency
Qualifications and Key Skills At least 3 to 5 years of professional production experience, e.g., with a production company, corporate marketing department, or marketing/advertising agency
Knowledge of shooting and editing videos
Demonstrated skill with video editing software platforms, specifically proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop and After Effects
Extensive knowledge of video production equipment, in addition to lighting, audio, frame composition and technical video settings (e.g. formats, codecs, frame rates, bit rates)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers and clients
Ability to travel for production; ability to work outside of regular office hours for special projects when needed
Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Professional and presentable attitude and appearance
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office products
Experience with live streaming a plus

Requirements MUST be in Alaska, preferably in Anchorage, and have ability to be in-office and on location multiple days of the week
Desire to travel throughout Alaska, with minimal travel required outside of Alaska
Some weekend and evening work may be required
