Required Skills: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institutionCurrent, unrestricted medical license in LouisianaDEA certification for prescribing controlled substancesMinimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience providing direct patient careProficiency in physical assessments, diagnostic testing, and treatment planningStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to work independently with high integrity and professionalismKnowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality regulationsBasic proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteNice to Have Skills: Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or PediatricsExperience working in correctional, detention, or residential healthcare settingsBilingual in English and SpanishExperience with electronic health records (EHR) systemsFamiliarity with social determinants of health and culturally competent carePreferred Education and Experience: Medical degree from an accredited U.S. or Canadian programAt least one year of direct patient care experience in a primary care settingCertification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPROther Requirements: Availability to work 8-10 hour shifts, five days per weekFlexibility to respond to medical emergencies and participate in on-call rotationsAbility to respond promptly within four minutes during emergenciesPhysical ability to perform emergency procedures and assist patients as neededCompensation and Benefits: Hourly pay rate of $150 all inclusive, with weekly pay via direct depositSupportive, dedicated team committed to your success throughout your assignmentTake the next step in your medical career and make a difference where it s needed most.
