Compliance BSA Analyst

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The primary role of the BSA Analyst is to analyze various gaming reports for due diligence related to Compliance and BSA.Analyze data obtained from casino operating systems for suspicious activity reporting.Search databases/records for missing data (i.e., Social Security Number, Address, etc.).Administer and maintain Downstream Casino Resort's Know Your Customer (KYC) program.Employ a range of methods/measures that aim to detect, block and report efforts made by patrons to present illicit funds at Downstream Casino Resort.Obtain information concerning a high-volume patron's financial and business circumstances by querying public databases through information sharing or work with the Downstream Casino Resort Hosts to obtain the required information or source of the patron's funds.Assist in the preparation of Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) and Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR) as needed to ensure Downstream Casino Resort maintains compliance with FinCEN and IRS regulations.Responsible for assistance in the daily, monthly and year-end reconciliation of jackpots in the gaming software to issued and printed 1042S and W2G's and reporting of gaming forms 1099, W-2G's, 1042S and related tax depositsAssist with other compliance projects as assigned.Communicate policies and procedures regarding BSA, Suspicious Activity, Office of Foreign Asset Control and Anti-Money Laundering.Prepare Excel worksheets, procedure documents and various other reports as needed.Maintain compliance files that include exception reports and follow up.Generate reports as assigned by the Director.Ability to apply a fluent understanding to carry out instruction furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems in a professional manner.Maintain the strictest of confidentiality with respect to the internal functions of the Compliance Department as well as any other information deemed to be confidential.Maintains a professional work environment with supervisors and staff. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.Attends all necessary training meetings.QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily.Must be a minimum of 21 years of age or older upon employment.Must have prior casino experience working in a responsible casino position.Must have worked in the Finance department of a casino and have knowledge of Finance operations.Must be analytical and perform accurate detail-oriented work for a casino.Must have worked with excel and have excellent excel skills.Prior experience with Everi Compliance is a plus.Must have excellent writing skills.Must have excellent computer skills.Must possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with other Team Members.Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues.Must present a well-groomed and professional appearance.Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screening.
