Job Title: Facility & Services Support ContractorLocation: Austin, TX 78717100% OnsiteDuration: 06+ Months ContractShift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM – 40 Hours/Week Position OverviewThe Facility & Services Support contractor will provide front-office and facility support services for the Austin site. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and employees while coordinating facility-related services and supporting day-to-day office operations. The role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a professional, customer-focused demeanor.Role SummaryThe Facility & Services Support contractor will serve as the primary onsite administrative and facilities support resource for the Austin office. This position combines front desk reception duties with facility coordination responsibilities, ensuring a professional workplace experience for employees and visitors. The individual will support daily office operations by managing facility service requests, coordinating with vendors and service providers, purchasing supplies and materials, assisting with office moves and workspace setup, and responding to general employee inquiries. The role requires a highly organized, customer-focused professional who can effectively multitask, communicate with various stakeholders, and help maintain a safe, efficient, and welcoming work environment.Key Responsibilities:Performs defined and described tasks related to facility management & services (e.g. mail services & logistics, reception, move, cleaning, archive, print & copy services, conferencing etc.), reporting of feedback, incident reports and required documentation.Coordinates related required activities and resources (internal and external service provider).Purchases materials for installations, hook-ups, maintenance and repairs.Responds to general office inquiries.May organize relocation and office furnishing.Completes service calls/requests regarding maintenance activities or other facility-related procedures.Provide reception and front lobby supportRespond to general office inquiriesCoordinate facility services and related activitiesSupport mail services, logistics, conferencing, printing/copying, archives, cleaning, and office movesComplete service calls and maintenance requestsPurchase materials for facility installations, maintenance, and repairsCoordinate resources with internal teams and external service providersAssist with office relocation and furnishing activities as neededMaintain required documentation, incident reports, and service recordsAdditional ResponsibilitiesServe as the first point of contact for visitors and employees entering the facilityCoordinate facility services including mail, logistics, conference room support, archives, cleaning, and office servicesTrack and document facility incidents, service requests, and maintenance activitiesPartner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely completion of facility-related tasksProcure materials and supplies needed for maintenance, repairs, and office operationsAssist with office expansions, relocations, and furniture coordinationSupport the site's ongoing growth initiatives and occupancy needs as the Austin campus expandsRequired QualificationsTop 3 Resume Must-HavesStrong computer proficiencyFriendly, engaging, and professional customer-service personalityAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyTechnical SkillsMicrosoft Office Suite proficiencyComfortable using AI tools such as:Microsoft CopilotChatGPTSimilar AI productivity toolsEducation & ExperienceOption 1Bachelor's degree (any field)Entry-level candidates consideredOption 2High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum 5 years of experience working in an office environmentIdeal Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate is a polished administrative or facilities support professional who enjoys interacting with people, can represent the company professionally at the front desk, is highly organized, tech-savvy, and capable of balancing multiple administrative and facility-related responsibilities in a fast-paced office environment.Experience:2 year vocational training + up to 1 year experience needed.
