This role will be responsible for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, month-end closing activities, and other general accounting tasks. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external customers. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Work Schedule: M-F (40 hrs/week); candidate hired will select a work schedule that falls between 7am-5pm.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess Accounts Payable (AP), including invoice review, coding, and payment preparationManage Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoicing, payment posting, and customer account follow-upAssist with month-end closing, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and reportingMaintain accurate and organized financial records and documentationReconcile bank statements, credit cards, and general ledger accountsAssist with preparation of financial reports and schedulesCommunicate with vendors and customers to resolve billing and payment issuesSupport audits and internal reviews as neededPerform other accounting and administrative tasks as assignedQualificationsRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred3+ years of experience in accounts receivable or general accountingStrong understanding of basic accounting principles and principlesProficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (ERP experience a plus)High level of accuracy and attention to detailStrong organizational and time-management skillsEffective written and verbal communication skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with month-end close processesFamiliarity with GAAP and internal controlsExperience in manufacturing, distribution, or service-based industriesSkills & CompetenciesAnalytical and problem-solving skillsCustomer-focused mindsetAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesProfessional and tactful approach to collectionsTeam-oriented with the ability to work independentlyEqual Opportunity Employer
