Job Description Company Description1 Yr ContractPay Rate: ~$6,414~/mo DOEJob DescriptionMaintain computer networks including routers, switches, VPNs and other physical hardware/softwareConfigure and maintain Aruba wireless hardware including Mobility Conductor, Mobility Controllers, Access Points, and switches.Execute Wi-Fi RF (Radio Frequency) planning, site surveys, and tuning to ensure optimal coverage, signal quality, and minimal interference.Implement and monitor robust network security measures, including 802.1X, RADIUS/EAP-TLS authentication, and Role-Based Access Control (ClearPass)Monitor systems to improve network performance for all systemsCreate firewall rules and update software and data security systems to keep data and communications protectedProvide on-site support for projects that require on-site installation and supportUpdate network equipment to the latest firmware releasesProvide Tier 2/3 support to diagnose, isolate, and resolve wireless connectivity and performance issuesParticipate in on-call rotationReport network status to key stakeholdersImprove knowledge and understanding of network and security best practices to offer the best solutions and protection to company systemsAbility to work overtimeAbility to travel overnightQualifications5+ year of network related work experiencePossess strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsAbility to execute excellent customer service relationship skillsAbility to collect and analyze information, problem-solve, and make decisionsStrong documentation skillsExperience in the implementation and operation of wireless networks is a plus.
