We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Project HSE Supervisor to support Life Sciences North America (LSNA) project portfolio.As part of our team, in this initial remit you will provide HSE support and leadership to a pharmaceutical project in Clayton. NC. You will be directly supporting the Project HSE Manager to lead HSE excellence and deliver a project that ensures no worker injuries or negative impacts to our client’s business continuity. We’ll ask you to support Beyond Zero performance that is inclusive of the Line of Business’ (LOB) vision and strategic plans as well as provide overall leadership, management and direction to the team and client assigned.We’ll rely on you to take personal ownership and responsibility for protecting people from harm and for driving strategies and performance while supporting continuous improvement. You’ll own and maintain open communication with the HSE Manager as well as peer HSE team members to provide technical resources guidance, to ensure alignment and to ensure consistent implementation of HSE process tools that support project HSE strategic plans and objectivesBy establishing working relationships, you’ll provide visible support and leadership to all client and project stakeholders by providing interpretation, training, technical review and support, regulatory guidance, and governance oversight to ensure alignment and consistent implementation of the Jacobs HSE program. This key position will be the champion for driving best practices and continuous improvement efforts for positive motivation, employee development and resource planning that meet or exceeds overall HSE business goals and objectivesFuture project assignments may require additional travel within the US, and potentially North America.If you’re up for the challenge, we’ve been looking for someone just like you.Here's what you'll need A professional HSE Certification and/or degree in construction safety, industrial hygiene, engineering or related field; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree. A minimum of 5 years of construction HSE experience and in managing/supporting subcontractor safe work OSHA 30 Hour Training (construction) Experience delivering safety training, toolbox talks, and/or similar “outreach” and coaching Ability to effectively and professionally communicate at all levels Ability to identify and recognize unsafe acts or conditions, and utilize Stop-Work Authority where appropriate Working knowledge in applicable regulatory compliance, as well as all federal, state and local agencies requirementsIdeally, You’ll Have A working knowledge of standard construction practices, processes, procedures and terminology Experience in Life Sciences construction projects Proficient in Microsoft Word, Teams, Publisher, Excel, Outlook and Power Point, #Bio/Pharma, #EPCMV, #globallifescience, #ConstructionOur health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
