The ideal candidate will be experienced, organized, positive, driven, and a team player.Department TechnologyEmployment Type PermanentLocation Remote, United StatesReporting To DevOps ManagerEssential Duties And ResponsibilitiesProvide technical thought leadership in collaboration with Architecture and EngineeringDesign, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) for development, UAT, and production environments. Leverage AI coding assistance (e.g., Copilot)Design, implement and maintain observability and monitoring solutions and monitor system health, taking action to maintain uptime and performance SLAs, including on-call rotationDesign, implement, and maintain continuous integration (CI) and delivery (CD) systems and advise development teams on code and implementation to increase application resiliency, operability, and best practices. AI assisted coding will be leveraged wherever possibleManage containerized workloads. Deploy application servers hosting APIs and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and clientsDesign, implement, and maintain Kubernetes clusters with advanced configuration and featuresDesign, implement, and maintain Kafka clusters with advanced configuration and featuresIdentify points of failure with ability to recommend and implement solutions in our infrastructureWhat you’ll need to be successfulEducation level - Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) preferableYears of Experience – 3+ relevant experience in DevOps in a SaaS environmentExpertise in distributed systems including load balancing, data storage, distributed messaging, and distributed databasesExpertise in software configuration management (SCM) and tools like Chef, Puppet, Ansible or similarExpertise in cloud platforms, primarily AWSAWS PaaS tools: ECS, EKS, EC2, VPC, ELBs, S3, WAF, Parameter Store, SNS, SQS, SES, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudFront, and moreExpertise in automated deployment methodologies that support CI/CD/CM using Git, Jenkins or GitHub Actions preferredExperience with managing infrastructure via IaC.
