Senior Okta & Identity Operations Engineer (Global Remote)

Location: Remote role supporting globally distributed IAM operations teams across the US, APAC, and EMEA. We support enterprise and regulated environments across the US, APAC, and EMEA with engineering-led cybersecurity and IAM operations services.Role OverviewWe are seeking a senior hands-on Okta & Identity Operations Engineer to support enterprise IAM operations across SaaS authentication, federation, MFA, and identity lifecycle environments.This role is focused on:- Okta administration and operations- SSO / MFA troubleshooting- Federation and authentication workflows- Identity lifecycle operations- SaaS onboarding and access management- Production IAM incident responseThis is an operational engineering role supporting complex enterprise environments — not a pure implementation or governance consulting role.Responsibilities- Support enterprise Okta environments, including: - SSO - MFA - Federation - Lifecycle management - Access troubleshooting- Troubleshoot authentication, provisioning, and identity-related incidents- Support SaaS onboarding and access governance workflows- Participate in operational incident response and on-call rotations- Support IAM automation and workflow improvement initiatives- Maintain operational runbooks and documentationRequired Skills- 5+ years supporting enterprise Okta environments- Strong expertise in: - Okta administration - SAML / OIDC / OAuth - SSO and MFA troubleshooting - Identity lifecycle operations - Federation troubleshooting- Experience supporting production IAM operations environments- Strong troubleshooting and communication skillsPreferred- Active Directory / Entra ID exposure- SailPoint exposure- ServiceNow- PowerShell or automation scripting experienceCompensation$50,000 – $90,000 salary equivalent, depending on experience, geography, and operational depth. Contract and consulting arrangements also considered.
