Skill Set : Smart Hands / Network Field EngineersDesignation : Dispatch (on-demand)Language : English (C1 Level)Contract : B2B/FreelanceDays Per Week : on-demandLocation : St. Louis, MO, USAScope of work:FE(Field Engineer) will be responsible for onsite installation, connectivity, and support activities related to Wireless LAN Controller (WLC) deployments across multiple sites in CaliforniaRole Responsibilities:Rack & stack and structured cablingInstall 2 x Cisco 9800 WLCs per sitePerform fiber connectivity, SFP installation, and patching (fiber & Ethernet)Execute power/network cross-connections and validate switchportsStage equipment before cutoverSupport remote teams during cutover and validate installationsDecommission legacy WLCs (40–50% sites), including packing and return preparationProject Scope:On-call / ticket-based assignments (no guaranteed hours)1 site per day (small/medium sites)Weekend work for larger sitesTools & Requirements:Must have: console cable, hotspot, label maker, rack screwsShould arrange (cost reimbursable): SFP modules, fiber patch cords, Ethernet patch cordsStrong hands-on experience in networking, cabling, and field support
