The Fertigation/IPM Tech at our Nevada facility is responsible for supporting the integrated pest management and the irrigation/fertilizer programs. This includes maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of irrigation equipment in the fertigation room and growing areas. The position will perform nutrient staging, weighing and mixing and report to the cultivation leads (Vegetation, and Flower/Harvest) when not working on IPM/Fertigation tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare and mix all nutrients in large scale tanks in preparation for daily feedings to all Vegetative & Flowering Room locations in both facilities
Responsible for maintaining stock nutrient tank levels and daily checklists including biosecurity
Assist with flushing/cleaning of trunk lines in the facility and any additional maintenance for all irrigation lines
Clean all work areas involved, e.g., sweeping, dusting, mopping, and sanitizing work surfaces and common spaces
When not working with fertigation or IPM this position will report to cultivation supervisors and complete crop tasks
Implement cultivation practices as indicated by supervisors and managers
Maintain the health of immature, vegetative and flowering plants through observation and adherence to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Perform plant maintenance, feedings and irrigation events, and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) according to a set schedule and SOP, as determined by the Head of Cultivation
Ensure the grow facility is kept free of pests, viruses, or other diseases by preventing contamination through proper use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and biological controls established within the cultivation SOPs
Crop Scouting to observe and immediately address issues with plants, equipment, or environments
Work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity through coordinated workflow and efficient systems
Maintain organization and sanitary conditions within the grow facility
Additional duties as assigned
Minimum skills and requirements
High School diploma or GED required
Must be 21 years or older
Must have active State of Nevada Cannabis Agent Card, or the ability to obtain one

Ability to communicate clearly and accurately
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Computer knowledge, Irrigation System Controls
1-2 years minimum experience with irrigation, plumbing and diagnosis
1-2 years minimum experience with plant strains, plant structure, and plant health
Adaptability
Critical thinking
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to pass respirator fit test, full face respirator
Prolonged periods of standing
Elevated temperature environments, humidity levels and average temperature 78 degrees
Requires normal range of hearing and manual dexterity
Some crouching or holding uncomfortable positions for extended periods of time; repetitive motions
Ability to kneel, bend and squat
Lift and carry up to 70 lbs
Work Environment
Similar to a busy manufacturing facility or warehouse
Occasional exposure to loud machines, extremely bright lights, and fertilizer (PPE is provided and required)
Team environment and communication between different departments
Schedule
4-10 hour shifts 6am-4:30pm
Two schedule options (Sun- Wed or Wed-Sat)
