With a mission to create a clear path forward for every brain, Waypoint Neuro blends clinical expertise with a compassionate, results-driven approach.What You Will DoThis is a full-time, on-site role based in Boise, ID, for a Medical Director at our new MeRT Clinic. The Medical Director will oversee clinical operations, leveraging their expertise to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, collaborating with a care team, interpreting EEG diagnostics to develop treatment plans, and ensuring protocol adherence. The Medical Director will also engage with patients and their families, provide education on MeRT therapies, and contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical care. This is a new clinic being established in Boise, ID, by experienced operators who have successfully opened multiple clinics. The Medical Director will collaborate with the owners for processes as the clinic is established but will not be expected to "build the plane while flying it."Who You AreMD or DO requiredStrong preference for ACGME-accredited residency program in psychiatryCurrent unrestricted medical license to practice in the State of IdahoABMS certification required; ABPN certification preferredTRICARE-authorized network provider strongly preferred Outstanding communication, leadership, and patient-care skills Familiarity with EEG diagnostics and non-invasive brain stimulation techniques, such as MeRT, is highly desirableWhat You Will ReceiveCompensation and benefits package is in the final stages of approval and can be a combination of base pay plus profit sharing for fair market value (FMV) for the local market.
