Job Description Benefits:Bonus based on performanceDental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insuranceJob Title: Journeyman Electrician Data Center CommissioningLocation: Lincoln, NEJob Type: Full-Time / Contract (as applicable)Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician with 35+ years of on-site experience to support a data center project currently in the commissioning phase. This role involves working closely with senior controls engineers to perform critical electrical testing, verification, and energization activities while ensuring compliance with safety standards and project procedures.Key Responsibilities:Perform electrical point-to-point checks to verify system integrity and proper installationConduct pre-energization inspections and checks prior to system startupSupport safe energization of power distribution units (PDUs) in accordance with OSHA and NFPA standardsAssist controls engineers during commissioning activities and system validationTroubleshoot electrical systems and resolve installation or commissioning issues as neededMaintain accurate daily reports and documentation of work performedInterpret electrical drawings, schematics, and method of procedure (MOP) documentsEnsure all work is completed in compliance with applicable codes, safety regulations, and project requirementsCarry out general Journeyman electrician duties as required on-siteQualifications:Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the State of Texas (required)35+ years of hands-on, on-site electrical experienceExperience working on data centers or large-scale industrial/commercial projects preferredFamiliarity with commissioning processes and procedures is a strong assetKnowledge of OSHA and NFPA standards and safe work practicesAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work collaboratively with engineers and project teamsWork Environment:Active construction/commissioning site environmentMay require extended hours, weekends, or shift work based on project needsPreferred Skills:Experience with power distribution systems and switchgearExposure to controls systems and PLC-based environmentsStrong attention to detail and documentation practicesCompensation:Competitive pay based on experiencePer diem / travel support (if applicable)
