Especially if you thrive in:Fast-paced, innovative technology base environmentOpportunities to grow and make an impactBe part of the CLI team that values team membersApply today and fuel the momentum!As one of the fastest growing warehousing and logistics companies in North America, we're looking for an experienced OPERATIONS MANAGER.POSITION RESPONSIBILTIES:Reports directly to the Plant ManagerStrong leadership skills managing salaried and hourly employeesCreate direction for departments by having daily and weekly meetings with direct reportsMaintain and improve employee morale by facilitating team building and communications within the department.Direct, coordinator and assign work activities to all employees under supervision in facility and monitor, review and evaluate work product, methods and procedures of those employeesUnderstanding of lean processing principlesResponsible for driving continuous improvementEstablish and maintain effective KPI's monitors performance and initiates improvement opportunitiesProduce productivity reports and turn data into business cases to make fact-based decisionsDevelops and manages operations budgets to ensure compliance with the company and the customerCommunicates with customers to handle and escalated partner service issues or complaintsExceeds client-customer expectationsPromote and maintain a safe working environmentEnforce company policies/procedures and corresponding work instructionsPOSITION REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Materials Management and /or Engineering required or a minimum of seven years of experience at an operational level related to Logistics/ Supply Chain ManagementAutomotive and Third- Party Logistics is requiredStrong Customer interfacing skills, 24/7 availability via cell phoneStrong knowledge and experience of problem-solving using Root Cause AnalysisDemonstration experiencing with performing Layered Process AuditsERP/WMS proficiency (SAP Preferable)Experience with Continuous Improvement and Lean Processing PrinciplesDemonstrated successes related to launching operations or turnaroundsLogistics/ Supply Chain background to include proficiency in Third Party Services including Part Sequencing, JIT, JIS Value-added, Sub-Assembly, kitting, Repack, Deconsolidation, and Bulk and Small Lot MeteringLocation: Duncan, South CarolinaBenefits/Perks:Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K Match, & PTOCareer development: Opportunity for advancementTraining: Comprehensive training to fuel your growth and success!About The CompanyBuilt for precision.
