Senior Project Engineer - Aviation
Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering, LLC (ICE) is a full‑service transportation design and consulting firm that offers innovative solutions to transportation challenges. We are looking for a self‑motivated Senior Project Engineer/Project Manager to support aviation projects in the Southeast. Relocation will be paid for qualified candidates. Hybrid office and work‑from‑home arrangement is available.
Remote Status: Hybrid
Locations: Austin, Houston, San Antonio, Charlotte, Raleigh, Charleston, Columbia, Tampa, Orlando, Atlanta, Baton Rouge.
Position Responsibilities
Design runways, taxiways, aprons and other airfield projects using FAA Advisory Circulars.
Design landside facilities such as roads, parking, and utilities.
Supervise designers and CADD technicians.
Perform or lead civil design using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and professionals under the direction of the Aviation Service Director.
Manage construction projects as owner’s representative.
Obtain permits from local municipalities and statewide agencies.
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum of 4 years of aviation design experience and detailed knowledge of FAA standards.
Senior positions available for candidates with 10+ years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, Microsoft Excel, and other design programs.
Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision, focusing on client service.
Team player with strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Willingness and ability to learn new job skills.
