Speech Language Pathologist - PRN

We're currently seeking a motivated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - PRN to join our therapy team.As an SLP, you will evaluate, treat, and support residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing needs - helping them regain function, confidence, and quality of life. This is a great opportunity for an SLP who enjoys collaboration, independence in clinical practice, and making a meaningful impact with our residents.What You'll DoEvaluate residents' speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing abilitiesDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans and functional goalsProvide direct treatment in accordance with physician orders and plan of careAdminister and interpret standardized assessmentsEducate residents, families, and caregivers on strategies and home programsCollaborate closely with therapy, nursing, and medical teamsComplete accurate and timely documentation (evaluations, daily notes, progress reports)Maintain resident privacy in compliance with HIPAAWhat We're Looking ForGraduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology programActive Washington SLP license (or ability to obtain)Valid CPR certificationExperience in skilled nursing or rehab preferred - strong new grads are welcome to applyStrong communication, clinical reasoning, and teamwork skillsReady to Make a Difference?Apply today to join the Anacortes Health & Rehabilitation team - where every team member is a Force for Good .RequirementsQualificationsEducation:Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology required.Licenses/Certification:Current license in Speech Language Therapy as required by state law.Valid CPR certification required.Experience:Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.Salary Description
