Job Overview: Profession: General Medicine ProviderSpecialties Accepted: Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, or anyone with a background in general medicine, or experience with compensation and pension.Coverage Basis: PRN basis, ongoing Details: Two options for coverage:Travel and perform exams at a VES leased facilitySchedule Veterans within your own practiceOption to work days (4 hours) and/or full days (8 hours)One-Time non-treatment C&P exams + separation health assessmentsExams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment:Range of motion testingMuscle strength testingNo prescribing, no treatmentQuick credentialing & onboardingDMA certification available (can earn CME credits) must obtain once privileged if not already certifiedUse of Goniometer requiredFamiliar with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio requiredProficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.Own personal laptop (NO MACs)Training provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs)Reporting/DBQs must be submitted within 48 hours upon exam completion - no narrative report.
