Our service professionals meet warranty conditions, ensure safe and proper operation, and are always here to provide Emergency Assistance, 7 days a week.The Generator Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical generators and related equipment. This role ensures all generator systems function efficiently and safely, meeting industry standards and regulations.What You’ll DoInstall, inspect, and maintain generators and associated electrical systemsPerform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and battery checks on generatorsRead and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to diagnose and resolve issues with generator systemsCollaborate with other technicians, engineers, and contractors on generator-related projectsMaintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work, documenting all service activities and parts usedWhat You’ll BringExperience with generator repairs and services, or in a similar residential/commercial roleExperience with small engine or automotive repairsProficiency in using tools and equipment commonly used in generator maintenance and repairValid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as neededLifting up to 100lbs on a regular basisProficiency with technology and computer systems, such as Service FusionThis job is with an independent Generac Channel Partner and not for employment with Generac Power Systems, Inc.We are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
