About This PositionWe are seeking a driven and talented DevOps Engineer to join our growing Platform Automation team. In this mission critical role, you will design, build, and implement high quality processes and pipeline automations for internal customers. You will also gain hands on experience with infrastructure components such as Kubernetes, Databases, Windows, and Linux. This role is responsible for supporting and improving our development platform, allowing for frictionless developer experience from code to production.What You'll DoWork with application developers to design and implement pipelines and workflows to effectively build, test and deploy applicationsWork with infrastructure and security teams to ensure pipelines align with necessary requirements for networking, security and performanceSupport the SDLC to help ensure our product development meets and passes necessary compliance and infosec requirementsBe first line of support to enable developers to move faster within the Waystar ecosystemSupport in the management of internal toolingMaintain clear, consistent communication with management.Build and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with team membersPerform additional duties as assignedWhat You'll Need1–3 years of experience, preferably some time in application developmentExperience and curiosity in CI/CD processes and toolingA desire to automate and optimize repetitive tasksAbility to code in one or more general-purpose programming languages; C# and .NET are preferredExperience with developer tooling such as GitHub, GitLab, Harness, Jenkins, etcExperience with infrastructure components (Kubernetes, Windows, Linux, Load Balancers) preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to thrive in a fast paced environment and embrace changeHighly self-motivated; able to work independently or as part of a teamBachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experienceAbout WaystarThrough a smart platform and better experience, Waystar helps providers simplify healthcare payments and yield powerful results throughout the complete revenue cycle.Waystar’s healthcare payments platform combines innovative, cloud-based technology, robust data, and unparalleled client support to streamline workflows and improve financials so providers can focus on what matters most: their patients and communities.
