A special education teaching opportunity is available in Racine, WI, specializing in working with students who have emotional and behavioral disorders (EBD). This contract position requires an experienced educator skilled in managing challenging behaviors within a self-contained classroom setting. The class currently serves a small group of three students, supported by an aide, with potential growth to six or seven students.Key Responsibilities:Provide specialized instruction tailored to students with emotional and behavioral challenges.Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) addressing academic and social-emotional goals.Collaborate closely with aides and other educational professionals to create a supportive learning environment.Use effective behavior management strategies to promote positive student outcomes.Monitor and document student progress and communicate with families and administration.
