Accounts Payable Specialist

Client Job Description Ledgent is partnering with a company in Shakopee looking for an immediate AP temp (with potential to be hired on). Fully on-site (flexible schedule) and pays $26-$28/hour. Job Description: Process, review, and code vendor invoices for accuracy and proper authorization Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents (2-way/3-way matching) Resolve invoice discrepancies and respond to vendor inquiries in a timely manner Prepare and process weekly or monthly payment runs (checks, ACH, wire transfers) Maintain vendor records, including W-9 forms and tax documentation Reconcile accounts payable subledger to the general ledger Qualifications: Associates Degree (required) / Bachelors Degree (preferred) 3+ years of A/P experience 3-way matching experience (strongly preferred) Experience with various other duties (month-end, w-9's, G/L) All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
