Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Banquet Supervisor to lead and oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of banquet events. In this role, you will ensure that all events are delivered with exceptional service, attention to detail, and operational excellence. The Banquet Supervisor will manage a team of staff, coordinate with culinary and service teams, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and hospitality. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all aspects of banquet event operations, including setup, service, and breakdown. Lead, train, and motivate banquet staff to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high standards of food presentation and cleanliness. Collaborate with culinary teams to ensure proper food preparation, presentation, and timely delivery during events. Oversee inventory control for banquet supplies, linens, and equipment to ensure availability and minimize waste. Manage shift schedules, assign tasks efficiently, and monitor staff performance to optimize productivity. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards across all banquet activities. Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to guarantee guest satisfaction. Skills Extensive experience in food preparation, catering, or banquet management within a hospitality setting. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling. Strong knowledge of kitchen management, food safety protocols, and food handling procedures. Proven leadership skills in supervising teams, staff training, and development within a fast-paced restaurant or hotel environment. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory control and budgeting effectively. Experience in managing restaurant operations including shift management, customer service excellence, and event coordination.
