Our runners provide deliveries both locally and regionally to other store locations or customers. To ensure success as a runner, you should pay close attention to order details and accuracy to avoid both customer dissatisfaction and company losses. Duties/ResponsibilitiesProvide excellent customer service, making sure all customer needs are being met as quickly and efficiently as possiblePerform safety checks of trucks and trailers before and after loading of each delivery to ensure road readinessFollow and maintain loading protocols, using chains and binders to secure cargo and re-checking their stability throughout deliveriesContribute to company data by honestly recording times of delivery and hours workedPull, load, and unload cargo, maintaining product quality throughout conveyanceAdhere to traffic safety regulations at all times, exercise caution in treacherous circumstances and report unsafe vehicle or road conditions to supervisors and authoritiesUse GPS to stay informed of route information and communicate changes of route with supervisors and colleaguesBasic use of power tools and pallet jacksMaintain cleanliness of fleet, yard, warehouse, and store at all timesAssist with any other duties as assigned or neededExperience and EducationHigh school diploma or GED required. Two years of experience working as a delivery driver with no legal or safety incidents on record. Experience and education may be substituted for one another. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Denali and internet a plus.Skills, Licensing, and CertificationsMust have a valid drivers license and clean driving recordMust be able to pass random drug testsForklift certification a plusAbility to lift 75 pounds safelyKnowledge of applicable driving rules and regulationsMust be a team playerRequirements: Compensation details: 21-21 Hourly WagePI0138416913e1-31181-40015167
