Mechanical Design Engineer Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer Location: On-site | Windsor, CA Compensation: $80K - $120K (DOE) We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer with a minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in mechanical design. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity to join a dynamic team focused on designing and improving mechanical systems and components for commercial applications. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) Create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings with accurate GD&T Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, R&D, and quality to ensure design feasibility and performance Conduct tolerance analysis and support design validation through prototyping and testing Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Minimum of 1 year of experience in mechanical design, preferably in a manufacturing or product development environment Experience w/SolidWorks or related CAD program Introductory knowledge in machining, sheet metal, or light automation Familiarity with PLM systems and engineering change processes Proficiency in CAD tools and familiarity with FEA software Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and DFM/DFA principles Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Benefits - Competitive Salary ($80K - $120K) - Bonus - Medical - Dental - Vision - Paid Time Off - Vacation Pay - Strong mentorship opportunities - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
