Job Overview As the Director of Electrical Engineering, SWB/SWG Division, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the engineering team to design and develop state‑of‑the‑art electrical engineering solutions, focusing on Low Voltage Switchboards, Medium Voltage Switchgear, and related components. Your extensive experience in electrical engineering, coupled with your leadership skills, will enable you to lead, mentor, and collaborate with a team of engineers to deliver high‑quality, innovative products. Qualifications & Requirements BS in Electrical Engineering is required; MS/PhD preferred. Registered Professional Engineer (PE) is desirable but not required. 10+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in designing or engineering power/utilities (substation) with direct experience in NEC and NETA codes for LV/MV transformers, switchgear, and panelboards. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures for LV/MV transformers, switchgear, and panelboards is a plus. Familiarity with UL 1066, 489, 89, 1558, and IEEE C37 standards. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic direction and technical leadership to the engineering team, ensuring alignment with company goals and industry best practices. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional growth. Oversee the design, development, and testing of electrical engineering solutions, including Medium Voltage Transformers, Low Voltage Switchboards, and Medium Voltage Switchgear. Apply in‑depth knowledge of medium voltage transformers, low voltage switchboards, medium voltage switchgear, relays, power distribution engineering, CAD, distribution design, and related areas to drive innovation and quality. Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure projects are executed on time and meet technical specifications. Collaborate closely with other departments such as manufacturing, sales, and quality assurance to ensure seamless product development and successful launches.
