Lead Water Restoration Technician (Crew Chief)Service Master by ASG is a local franchise company that provides relief for residential or commercial properties that have suffered water, fire and mold damage.Summary of the PositionWe currently have an opportunity for a Lead Water Restoration Technician (Crew Chief) to join our team. As a Lead Water Restoration Technician (Crew Chief), you will be responsible for supervising, coaching, and training a team of technicians on all internal procedures, ensuring all business protocols are adhered to. You will play an active role in producing a high-quality work product on properties in relation to all clean up and restoration efforts.Essentials Job FunctionsEnsure that the proper inventory and equipment, such as products and supplies needed for each project, are loaded in the work vehicleSet up, implement, and monitor all required equipmentAdhere to and enforce company standards in setting up reliable containment, removing and packing of all recoverable materials, cleaning up any debris and perform any other mitigation and remediation effortsAdopt and maintain our clean methodPerform production processes, demolition and other labor-intensive tasks while providing supervision and quality control over all techniciansProvide coaching and training to all technician level team members while on the job, escalate any repetitive issues to managementProvide upkeep on all vehicles and equipment appearancePerform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdownPhotograph and document daily tasks using our internal systemsParticipate in an on-call rotationAdditional duties as assignedQualifications/ Skills1 year of restoration industry experience (water, fire, and mold) is preferredIICRC accreditations for fire & smoke, water damage, and microbial remediation is preferredExcellent communicator, both verbally and writtenAbility to work with people in a professional mannerMaintains a valid and current driver's licenseAvailability for travel in response to out of town projects and/or catastrophic eventsThis job description in no way states or implies these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position.
