You Belong Here.Patient Care Tech - PCT – Cardiac Surgery StepdownFull Time – Day shift – 36 hours.The Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit (CVPCU) is a 32-bed adult inpatient surgical unit. The unit offers 3 levels of care: floor, telemetry, and intermediate care for acute cardiac, vascular, and other surgical patients requiring cardiac monitoring. Care and services provided: coronary artery bypass, Heartmate II or III & Heartware mechanical circulatory support devices, valve replacement or repairs, Type A & B aortic dissections, fem-pop bypass, scalenectomy, TAVR, heart or lung transplantation.What awaits you:Our competitive Benefit Package is designed to support the well-being and financial security of our employees and includes:Full medical, dental, and vision plans,Paid time off (PTO),Tuition reimbursement for you and your dependentsTell a friend and get paid with our Employee Referral Program Bonus!Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredActive Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Maryland is required.1 year of acute care (hospital) tech experience within the most recent 2 years is required (EMT or CRT experience may be considered)BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted.Important Notices:***Authorization to Work in the United States: Applicants who require sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered for this position.Salary Range: Minimum 18.41/hour - Maximum 27.70/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
