Senior Supply Technician The Senior Supply Technician will perform inventory control and supply management activities in support of clinical and administrative operations at VA healthcare facilities, and will monitor all contracted employees at the various sites. This position involves stock management, material handling, delivery coordination, and adherence to safety and infection control standards. Tasks will be carried out using computerized inventory systems with a strong emphasis on accuracy and professionalism.Essential Functions and Responsibilities Supervise a team of supply technician and monitor work performance to ensure adherence to VA directives, SOPs and regulatory guidelinesCoordinate with program manager to ensure contractual requirements are met at all times.Maintain timecard and attendance records of all junior supply techniciansEnforce safety guidelines for all ISCI contracted staffLiaison between ISCI and the on-site VA ensuring communication is openMaintain and replenish stock in primary and secondary inventory locationsInterface daily with clinical staff, vendors, and Logistics personnelRotate stock, monitor expiration dates, and manage recallsUse barcode equipment to track and restock inventoryResolve inventory discrepancies and escalate unresolved issuesSupport delivery operations, including specialty carts and motor vehicle deliveriesClean storage areas per aseptic and infection control standardsParticipate in wall-to-wall and periodic inventoriesUnpack, store, and ship materials following sterilization and safety guidelinesConsolidate materials to maximize storage and ensure system integrityPerform miscellaneous tasks as needed in support of VA operationsThe work requires standing and walking during the entire workday, and frequent reaching, bending and lifting of supply packages (occasionally weighing as much as fifty (50) pounds). Work requires pushing loaded carts of medical supplies (weighing in excess of one hundred (100) or more pounds).
