PACU Staff Nurse

Title: PACU Staff NurseLocation: Manhattan, NYSchedule: Monday–Friday, 6:40am–2:40pmCompensation: $117,500–$137,500 + sign-on bonus + full benefitsWhat You’ll Do:Deliver exceptional pre- and post-anesthesia care in a highly specialized outpatient setting, with a strong focus on pediatric patients and their families. Monitor patients during recovery, manage IVs/central lines, and provide clear, compassionate discharge education. Partner closely with anesthesia and clinical teams to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered care. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate, compliant documentation. What We’re Looking For:Required: Experience recovering pediatric patients (ages 6 and under) — backgrounds in PICU, pediatric PACU, or pediatric procedure settings strongly preferred. Active NY RN license, BSN, and BLS & PALS certifications. Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience; prior PACU or peri-procedural experience preferred. Oncology experience is a plus, but pediatric recovery experience is a must. Strong clinical judgment, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and a compassionate, team-oriented approach.
